Book Review : Wonder by RJ Palacio

This book was everything I wanted in this book and much more 🙌😃 It exceeded all my expectations and I’ve felt every instance of this book . I’ve been bullied a bit in my earlier days as a kid , I was made fun in majority of my school days because I was overweight then 😅 So while reading this book I realised that I faced nothing as compared to him , because living with such a face is not at all easy and it never gets any easy , as we’re a generation which prefers external beauty more , even if we deny it , it’s true 😅 World is this way .

But what’s more important was how he dealt with it instead of complaining and how he was able to make friends despite this was something that deserves a standing ovation . And I loved how supportive and lovable his mom was , and so was his dad , and many of his friends so Auggie is an inspiration of how to tackle life 🙌💚. So this is one book I’m happy to recommend to every possible reader there is 💚. “ᴋɪɴᴅᴇʀ ᴛʜᴀɴ ɪs ɴᴇᴄᴇssᴀʀʏ. ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜsᴇ ɪᴛ’s ɴᴏᴛ ᴇɴᴏᴜɢʜ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴋɪɴᴅ. ᴏɴᴇ sʜᴏᴜʟᴅ ʙᴇ ᴋɪɴᴅᴇʀ ᴛʜᴀɴ ɴᴇᴇᴅᴇᴅ.”

So it’s a 5 🌟 book for me 💚🤓

🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : And then there were none by Agatha Christie

𝗠𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 5 🕵️🕵️🕵️🕵️🕵️/5🕵️

🅼🆈 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : Woah , I’m mind blown 😁🤤🤤 Agatha Christie is a sheer genius , I don’t know why people were saying this book is over-hyped , like seriously I loved every last page of it , how she made the readers accuse everyone , and how all your reasonings were defied one after another , she shatters your brain with all the different ways to kill a person . She’s the crime genius 🙌. And this book got my heart and brain 😭💔 It’s so good .

In this story 10 people are invited on an island and there host is missing and people start dying one after another and things start to take a turn in such a way that it’s clear that it’s not just tragedy but a murder , read this book to know who and how of these murders 💚🤓🙌

🄼🅈 🅁🄴🄲🄾🄼🄼🄴🄽🄳🄰🅃🄸🄾🄽 : If you’re looking for a great thriller go for it 👍👍👍👍🕵️🕵️🕵️🕵️ detective 🕵️🕵️‍♀️ in you won’t be disappointed.

🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : Milk and Honey by @rupikaur_
𝗠𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 🍯🍯🍯🍯.2 / 5 🍯
🅼🆈 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : Milk and honey , this book totally justifies its title if you read with patience 💚. This book is divided into 4 parts : 1. The hurting 2. The loving
3. The breaking
4. The healing
And to be frank all the parts have some of the most beautiful poems I’ve read . Some have a hidden pain in it , some has a ray of hope while others motivate you to keep hustling and always moving forward . All these poems(micro poems in most of the cases) helps in reflecting the various issues faced by women and there were many which I was Abel to relate to as a man 💚
🄼🅈 🅁🄴🄲🄾🄼🄼🄴🄽🄳🄰🅃🄸🄾🄽 : I’ve heard that @rupikaur_
books are overhyped , but I can tell you from my own experience it deserves all the praise it has got

Book Review : The little prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery

Favorite quote from this book : ” Only the children know what they are looking for ”
“When a mystery is too overpowering , one dare not disobey ”

Book Review : To be truthful I can’t review this book as it’s something that everyone needs to read and experience the things this book wants to say .
This book says many things about love , friendship , hope , excitement etc while it’s main focus is in reminding people not to fall for so called ideal life which makes you value little but important things less 💚. It explains how growing up is a scam and how it takes away the power of appreciation, judgement , and trying to learn new things from an individual . How grownups always care for materialistic details in anything , not the emotional , logical and how they judge beauty . It showed how affection really works , and how we form connections and how a stranger turns out to be someone special because we’ve given them time , one of the most precious resource we’ve .
This book left me in a state of wow 🧡💚😍 My rating : 🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴/ 5 🤴
My recommendation : I recommend everyone to read this book and it’s that kind of book that’ll get you out of any kind of book slumps 👳

Book Review : Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowlings

No of Pages : 364
Favourite quote :”The ones who love us never really leave us, you can always find them in here”
My rating : 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/5🌟
My Views : This is my 3rd book of HP and I’m pretty late in starting to read the books as I’ve watched the movies since I was a kid and around 20-30 times each 🌟😍 Coming to the book , Prisoner of Azkaban is a transition from a magical adventure stories for children to increasingly dark, increasingly nuance treatments to character 😲 The two books before this are comparatively a bit light hearted and less dark but this book was the beginning and correct transition to the future much violent and action-packed adventures . The character and story development in this book is of another level , our favourite trio in this book got more matured, and 2 of my favourite characters are introduced in this book i.e Sirius Black and Remus Lupin🌟😍 The movie is my all time favourite amongst movies and so is the book till now and I believe the books after this must be much better it’s hard to believe a series can get even more better 🌟😲😍

So this book was a perfect read for me and I’ve read and listened to it both 🌟🐥

Book Review : Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets 😁😍

No. Of Pages : 384 (it’s having some extra Gryffindor information as it’s house edition so more no of pages 😊)
My Rating : 4.7 🌟 out of 5 but wanted to give it infinite 🌟 😊

My Opinion : It’s one of the most underrated book in the Harry Potter series 😅 Literally the pure emotional content of this book is overwhelming as you can notice by this line ” What Harry found most unusual about life at Ron’s , however , wasn’t the talking mirror or the clanking ghoul : it was the fact that everybody there seemed to like him ” means the love Harry received by the Weasley’s was overwhelming and it’s special part of the book 😊🌟😁😍🙌 Here I’ve also got to learn that if you’re different than others then you’ll be judged and victimized every time something bad happens as whatever people can’t understand is bad or evil 😅😧😒😤

And I loved how Dumbledore deals with most difficult situations with all calm and here I witnessed my favorite bird Phoenix 🌟🙌🔥🔥 and there are various mysterious things in this book which is awesome to read 🙌😊😮 And we get to see what an sweet and innocent person Hagrid is 😍🙌 and how evil Malfoy is 😤😂😂
Note : Those who had watched movie only of chamber of secrets please remember movie was shitty as compared to the book means in movie dialogues and characters are just confused 😞😟😤

Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone

Book discussion 😊😋😋
Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone
Genre : Fantasy, drama, young adult fiction, mystery, thriller
No. Of Pages: 332
Note : How can a person review Harry Potter so I’ll just discuss the amazing moments 😊😅

My favourite moments : This book is filled with loads of awesome moments or say dialogue and I can say Harry Potter movies were great but books are masterpiece 😀😊😍🙌🙌🙌
1. Aunt Petunia often said that Dudley looked like a baby angel – Harry often said that Dudley looked like a pig🐖 in a wig 😂😂🤣🤣
2. Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow, Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow (didn’t worked 😂😂)
3. If they hadn’t found me , I’d be dead now (emotional moment 😅😬🙁)
4.But from that moment on, Hermione Granger became their friend. There are some things you can’t share without ending up liking each other , and knocking out a 12 foot mountain troll is one of them 😅😬😬😊 (meaningful one)
5.’ Go on ,have a pasty’ said Harry ,who had never had anything to share before or, indeed , anyone to share it with 😅🙁😊
My opinion : Harry Potter is an experience which is to be felt ,lived and thought and doesn’t deserve any criticizing 😊😀😁
It’s a magical journey which is meant to be read atleast once and after that you’re surely gonna re-read it 😊😍
So I’ll give it (🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 )^n

🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : Things fall apart by Chinua Achebe

ℕ𝕠 𝕠𝕗 𝕡𝕒𝕘𝕖𝕤 :152

My Rating : 4.5 /5 🍁

“The world has no end, and what is good among one people is an abomination with others.” 🅼🆈 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 :This book was actually written by Achebe as a backlash to another book called the heart of darkness by Joseph Conrad .

As Achebe didn’t like how Conrad had portrayed African culture in his book and he decided to show how intricate their culture is and to showcase the rich tradition of Africa which was not done justice in Conrad’s book 👍💫👏
So I liked majority of this book , the way the protagonist rised from the ashes to be who he’s now because of his shear hard-work and determination was commendable. What I didn’t liked was how bad his behavior was towards his wives in many instances , and it made me hate the protagonist , although he did some great and nice things for his wives and children’s but his way of showing manliness and judging others is something I found not to my liking . Overall this book is pretty good and I enjoyed it .

🄼🅈 🅁🄴🄲🄾🄼🄼🄴🄽🄳🄰🅃🄸🄾🄽 : Just go for it , it’s a good starting point for African Literature

🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : The importance of being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

My Rating : 5 😼😼😼😼😼 / 5
🅼🆈 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : The importance of being Earnest is technically my first proper work of Oscar Wilde , if I not include The Canterville Ghost which I’ve read when I considered myself a muggle i.e during my school days as it was a part of my syllabus.
But coming to this one it’s one of those great short tales which you wanna go back to time and time again to get the essence and feel of the book . I came to know about a term “Bunbury,” or “Bunburyism,” refers to the imaginary friend of Algernon called Bunbury that he uses to enable him to get out of awkward social engagements and to lead a double life.
This book is a satire used to ridicule the cultural norms of marriage love and mind-set which were very rigid . And he was highly successful in mocking these norms , you’ll find this book simply hilarious yet highly meaningful and will fill you with many lessons 🤓👏✨ It’s one of the best satire read by me 😇✨
🄼🅈 🅁🄴🄲🄾🄼🄼🄴🄽🄳🄰🅃🄸🄾🄽 : It’s must read classic and like animal farm one of the best places to start 👏🤓

🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : Batman : The court of owls by Greg Cox

“It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me ”

𝗠𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇/🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
🅼🆈 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 : As a kid I had a huge nostalgia for superheroes and dc was my source for superheroes then I used to read dc comic books and watch animated shows and Batman is amongst my favourite superheroes 😍
Coming to the story , I’ve read comic books related to the court of owls and a animated movie adaptation of it and thought this book would be a novelization of it but I was amazed as it’s entirely different it’s more like a sequel , here the author Greg Cox did a commendable job of threading this story together 🦇🤓 This book is a stuff of Batman purist. 🦇The plot and characterization is perfect . 🦇Back story and everything was on point 🦇 You get to see some of the familiar characters other than batman like Nightwing , Batwoman , Detective Gordan and many more . 🦇It’s a thrilling superhero adventure to be precise 🤓💜👏👍
🄼🅈 🅁🄴🄲🄾🄼🄼🄴🄽🄳🄰🅃🄸🄾🄽 : If you’re a superhero purist and looking for something refreshing and yet accurate , Go for it 💯💯
